May term is over. It was a good 3 weeks. Rooming & cooking with Stelle was loads of fun, especially because of all the free food we received from friends. We made lots of yummy stuff (quesadillas, stir-fry, pancakes, baked potatoes, pasta). We were kind of known as the "moms of may term" because we did a lot of baking. I love spreading a little cheer, especially when chocolate is involved. CHOW II was a pretty good class to, and I thought Dr. Foreman was a great professor. The class also sparked an interest in Thoreou for me. I love his thinking. I got an A on my midterm, and I think I did well on my final. I have a paper left to write, due tomorrow at noon. I've got just about 24 hours to write it.
It seems that I have quadruple the amount of stuff that I had when I moved in last August. I didn't realize I had so much stuff. We couldn't get it to all fit in the car! Lauren wound up bringing home a big box of my stuff for me. The biggest problem with this is that there is no space in my teeny apartment for all my stuff. We got home last night, and I immediately started pulling books off the shelves and clothes from the closet. I'll be donating a lot of stuff to Goodwill and selling a bunch of books on half.com. The purging will be a long process. I wish we had more space, but I managed for 18 years. I can do it again.
Theres a lot of things that need to be done now that I'm back. I've got to clean, purge, and unpack (that process alone will take a few days) and I need to get a job. I really want to see all of my friends and I have a long list of books I want to read this summer (that I will try to remember to post.)
Midwood's Lacrosse Championship is starting this very minute. I wish so badly that I was there to cheer for those guys, but more important on my list is that paper I have to write. So I'm going to get to that now and try to make the best of my first day of summer vacation.

:) "Moms of May Term." I like it. I'm going to miss cooking with you! <3 Stelle
