thirty-four.

I saw a depressing billboard in Chatty. It said Self Esteem in huge letters. It was an advertisement for plastic surgery.

I've decided I need to stop endorsing pop music. I just can't condone most of it. Britney Spears singing about a threesome doesn't shock or surprise me, but every pop star out there today is singing about how wasted they are. The men are degrading women and the women are degrading themselves. The pop star who sings about getting over a tough relationship or being stronger without a man in her life turns around and comes out with a new hit singing about how horny she is. What message is this sending to young girls? Its not okay for a song to have lyrics like "I'm trying to find the words to describe this girl without being disrespectful" followed by "damn, you're a sexy bitch." But it has a catchy beat so no-one seems to mind. Well, I mind. Sure, I like to dance to pop songs, but what message am I sending out by listening to it? I could go on about this for a while, but I'll just say I'm going to make more of an effort to stop listening to it and speaking up when I hear it played.

I want someone to pour affection on to.
I want a cloves cigarette.
No I don't.
But I kind of do.

I'm in a Postal Service kind of mood.
I've got dry winter-y skin and a fresh sunburn.
Come on spring.
