Liz's birthday was two weeks ago. We surprised her with a big dinner off the mountain, and then went to Mark's house to watch the season premiere of the Office.
This past weekend was our second annual Rowan Retreat at Camp Bridgemont, where Evangeline lives. It was a great time of fellowship and hall bonding. Then Sunday morning, I slipped on some wet stairs leaving the cabin, almost blacked out, and sprained my ankle. The nurse gave me a gnarly air boot to wear. I've discovered how difficult it is to get around on our campus for a cripple, but thats life on the mountain. The pain hasn't been too unbearable, and Liz and all the other Rowan girls have been taking good care of me =]
Today is Day of Prayer. Our whole hall cooked breakfast together (well..I just watched, since I can't really stand) and then we sang, prayed over the freshman, washed their feet, and made a giant banner full of prayers for Rowan with our handprints on it. Its been a really good morning so far and I thoroughly enjoy bonding with my hall.
As for the rest of the day...I need to write the script for Mac Movie (due in just 2 weeks, aah!) and clean my room. Me and Liz are going to try to do a little Halloween decorating in our room as well. Tomorrow preview weekend starts, so that should be a lot of fun too =]
