twenty-five.

I have always loved writing. In second and third grade I kept a very detailed journal or everything I did, all the places I went, the shows I watched on tv, etc. I chronicled my first upside down roller coaster and the day I got my ears pierced.
In seventh grade I got a xanga, and publicly chronicled the details of my day. I aired all of the drama of junior high, and my sophomore year of high school finally stopped writing in it.
Junior year, creative writing class was my outlet. Last week I found all of my old pieces. Its interesting to re-read all of it, and see what was important to me and such.
Since then, I have continued to blog. My posts are still personal, but in a different sort of way. I don't blog with the same detail and frequency as I once did. One of the things I like about journaling is how much it helps me to remember my past. But I no longer want to share all the personal details of my life with the world, nor do I have the time to write it all down.
One of my resolutions was to write a sentence a day. I'm on day two and its surprisingly hard to sum up a day into one sentence. Its a fun challenge though. And I hope I stick with it. I mean...its just a sentence. It shouldn't be too hard, right?

On a random note, I love Lisa Hannigan. Her voice is so wonderfully soothing and beautiful.
